Age of Wonders 4

With a nine-year gap since Age of Wonders 3, and a short campaign window of just over four months, we had a lot to overcome and a lot to achieve for a game that had high expectations in terms of both its critical and commercial reception from the client, Paradox Interactive.

With its high production values, a talented developer in Triumph Studios, and its multi-platform release, we were confident in being able to generate a lot of positive media coverage in a short period of time across the entire breadth of the Specialist Gaming media.

The end result was 60 pieces of coverage in the UK alone within that short timeframe, with a widespread and successful review campaign across 19 outlets including 9/10 from PCGamesN, 87% from PC Gamer, 8/10 from Metro Online, and a ‘Recommended’ accolade from Eurogamer.
